Opening Night!!!

...is tonight!!! That's right, folks! The annual dance recital that I'm a huge part of (and it's a huge part of my life) opens today. We had our last dress rehearsal last night, so for tonight, Wednesday and Thursday it's go hard or go home. 8-)

My fellow dance teachers' father took some great photos of our dress rehearsal on Saturday. Here are a few (of my dances, my students, my brothers, and all that fun stuff)

me dancing in the Advanced Clogging class
a class I taught - Preschool and 5th grade Clogging. the song is an Irish one :)
my "Kung Fu Fighters" - 5th and 6th grade tap class I taught
the class I was so freaked out about at the beginning of the year... these are my 'hippie' adult cloggers :)
"You spin me right round baby right round - like a record baby right round round round" my 3rd and 4th grade Jazz class
the dancer that was supposed to be in this dance got super sick, so the teacher asked me (like, last week. yeah, thanks a lot) to take her place. Spanish, fans... it is a lot of fun
and me with that shirt I made. when I'm wearing it, everyone calls me "Houston" :D
So there you have it! A sneak preview of the 2011 ARCC Dance Recital :)

track

My brother Noah participates in track and field for the local Christian school. In the following pictures, he's the one with curly hair. The other dudes in maroon are his team mates. :) (and these turned out a lot better than I thought they would)

on your mark...
GO!
his team mate, Tucker (I like this photo)
his team mate Alex
run Noah - run!!

and then, some random outside photos I took:
